Irish Wedding | Canal Court // Kellie + Marty
I was so delighted to be invited back into the McKenna family, this time for the gorgeous summer wedding of Kellie and Marty. The weather was absolutely beautiful on the morning, the sun shining everyone enjoying the wedding prep build up. The forecast for the afternoon wasn’t looking so hot but ever the optimist I hoped it would be wrong. Thankfully the family photographs were taken outside the chapel in Ballygawley as en-route to Basil Shiels the skies opened with torrential rain. As I stood under the shelter a river of water ran down the road I wondered what on earth we would do! Kellie, Marty and their bridal party didn’t let it concern them one little bit and enjoyed a drink while we waited for the rain to ease. I am so pleased we managed to get outside for photos at the epic Basil Shiels and I think Kellie and Marty perfectly prove the point not to let rain ruin your day - it certainly was memorable!
